Body Tech™ has been in business since 2004 and is a proud member with many professional associations.  All Body Tech™ Professionals are properly screen with full background checks, hold professional licenses, and insured with Body Tech™ as an additional insurer.  Body Tech™ provides professional massage spa services and follows the governing massage therapy laws.

Same Day Reservations for Individuals, Couples & Small Groups can be scheduled however; we recommend early reservations to assure our availability.

We welcome calls early morning through later evening seven days a week however, if a call comes in too late and we do not answer, a Body Tech Reservations Specialist will return your call the following day. 

Early morning and later evening reservations should be scheduled in advance.  Reservations that are scheduled before 9am or after 10pm will be assessed a $20.00 additional fee.

Body Tech provides its services seven days a week with exception of major holidays, please call in advance to schedule your reservation.
                                           



 
 
~ Reservations ~
  

 
All reservations are arranged and confirmed through Body Tech’s Reservations Center via telephone. 

To schedule a clients reservation, we are required to obtain driver's license and credit card information.  Drivers license information (your identification) well be verified upon arrival by our Body Tech professional. 

For billing purposes the client is not charged at the time of the reservation which will allow the client to up grade services and/or add a gratuity.

Early morning and later evening reservations should be scheduled in advance.  Reservations that are scheduled before 9am or after 10pm will be assessed a $20.00 additional fee.
                       


 
Hotel & Residential Reservations 

Reservations for massage services can normally be scheduled the same day and frequently within a couple hours depending on staff availability.

Additional and Specialty massage spa services require some advance notice. 

Later evening and early morning reservations need to be scheduled in advance. 

To guaranty availability we advise all reservations to be scheduled with some advance notification.


 
Health & Wellness Program Reservations 

Reservations need to be scheduled in advance and following each completed reservation until the package purchased is fulfilled.  A 72 hour notice is required for rescheduling a reservation to assure our professionals availability. 
  

 
Massage Spa Party Reservations 

A two week advance reservation is advisable to schedule a team of Massage Spa Professionals for a medium to larger massage spa party.  Smaller massage spa parties with one to two professionals can be scheduled within 72 hours.  We of course will consider shorter time frames depending upon staff availability.
  

 
Corporate & Event Reservations

A 72 hour advance notification is advisable to schedule a small to medium corporate event.  Larger corporate events that require a team of massage professionals need at least one week advance notification.  We of course will consider shorter time frames depending upon staff availability.
   

 
LMT Staffing Reservations

A 72 hour advance request for LMT staffing is advisable to schedule through our LMT Staffing Service.  We do not guaranty availability on short notice however, we will do our best to fulfill the staffing request.  Depending on the territory, we do not guaranty LMT Staffing availability.
             


 
Reservations Procedures

Advance notification to schedule all reservations is advisable to assure availability.  We normally are able to schedule same day reservations however depending on our daily bookings we can not guaranty that availability.

To schedule a reservation, a Body Tech™ Reservations Specialist will need to collect the following information…
•    Appointment date
•    Appointment times
•    Each client(s) first and last name or name of contact if the reservation is for a Corporate Event, LMT Staffing Service or a Massage Spa Party
•    A contact phone number per each paying client (mobile number needed from travelers)
•    Location
      o    If located in a hotel; name of hotel, room number, address and phone number
      o    If residential location; address and directions
      o    If located at a business location, we need the name of the company and location/address
•   
Type of services (estimated service rate will be provided) (clients will have the option to extend or upgraded services during the appointment) (gratuity is much appreciated however, it is not included in the services rate)
•     Basic health information of each client such as any known health conditions and/or any type of medication usage (unless the reservation is for a Corporate Event, LMT Staffing Service or a Massage Spa Party) (If there are any known contraindications to receiving a massage spa service, Body Tech™ can not schedule the reservation) (This is for your protection)
•    Agreement of Body Tech’s Professional Ethical Policies
•    Credit card information (or billing arrangement if scheduling a Corporate Event or LMT Staffing service) (clients credit card will be charged after the reservation is completed)
•    Sorry we do not accept cash (our professionals do however accept cash gratuities) (gratuities may also be charged to the client’s credit card)
•    Driver’s license information is required by one client per appointment location and will be verified upon arrival by a Body Tech™ licensed professional
(this is obtained for our professional’s safety) (drivers license verification is not required for Corporate Events, Massage Spa Parties or an LMT Staffing Service)

Voicemail Response Time

Normally we are very quick at responding.  Sometimes depending on the day it can take up to an hour or more for a response if we are very busy.  We welcome later evening calls however, we can not always respond until the following day.

If you leave a voicemail in the later evening/night and would like a call back, please provide a cut off time for a call back.  Depending on our schedule, we may or may not be able to call back that same night.

Individuals, Couples, Small Groups & Massage Spa Parties

Body Tech™ must obtain credit card payment information and current driver's license information which will need to be verified upon arrival.  Sorry we do not accept cash payments however, our professionals may accept cash or credit card gratuities.  Gratuities added to the clients credit card will be paid in full to the professional service provider. 
       

 
Corporate Events 

Body Tech accepts credit card and/or payments in a form of a check from companies the same day of the scheduled reservation.  Reservations however need to be held with a credit card the day the reservation is scheduled.
  

 
LMT Staffing

Massage and spa establishments will be billed for our services which will be due upon receipt of invoice.  Our professionals will receive their gratuities if collected. 
  

 
Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of the service(s).  Gratuities are very much appreciated and our professionals will receive 100% of their gratuities if collected by Body Tech™.  Cash is also accepted and appreciated!  A customary gratuity is between 15 & 20% of the service rate.
         



   
Notification of Cancellations

Body Tech™’s Reservations Department must be notified of all canceled reservations.  Cancellation fees will be charged to the client’s credit card on file.  Companies scheduled to pay by check will be billed.  These fees are necessary as the licensed professional has set aside that time and must be compensate for their time, inconvenience and lost wages.

Body Tech™ always tries to work with our valued clients during emergency situations if we are notified in a timely manner.

Cancellations that are a result from emergency weather conditions and natural disasters incurs no cancellations fees as the safety of our clients and staff are of utmost importance.
       


 
Cancellations
for Massage Spa Parties

For each scheduled service/professional that is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled Massage Spa Party reservation, with exception of the final four hours, there will be a 50% cancellation fee of the reserved services.  Cancellations within four hours of the reserved services there will be a 75% cancellation fee.  No-shows and cancellations within one hour of the reserved services there will be a full service charge.

Cancellation charges for Massage Spa Parties will be applied to the credit card on file.

 
Cancellations for Individuals or Couples

There will be a $50.00 cancellation fee per each scheduled individual service if canceled within 4 hours of the scheduled reservation, with exception of the last hour.  If the reservation is canceled within one hour, or if client(s) are a no-show of the scheduled reservation, there will be a full service fee per each individuals scheduled reservation.  Fees will be automatically charged to the client’s credit card on file or what is arranged per each separate individual.
   

 
Cancellations for Health & Wellness Clients

Clients who are receiving our Discount Package rates through our Health & Wellness Program require a 24 hour notification to cancel or reschedule a reservation through Body Tech™’s Reservations Department.  There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee if the reservation is canceled within 12 hours with exception of the last hour.  Cancellations within one hour of the scheduled reservation or no-shows will be charged $50.00 that will be automatically charged to the client’s credit card on file. 
      

   
Cancellations for Corporate & Event Services

Cancellations less than 72 hours of the scheduled reservation will be charged 20% of the total amount due.  Cancellations within one hour of the scheduled reservation will be charged 75% of the total amount due.
       

  
Cancellations for LMT Staffing Services

Cancellations less than 72 hours of the scheduled reservation will be billed 20% of the total amount due.

~ Our Licensed Massage Spa Professionals ~

We take great pride in knowing that our licensed professionals are some the best in the profession.  All of our massage therapists have completed formal training programs with state licensed and accredited schools.  In addition, they hold professional licenses with the authority that regulates massage therapy in the state services are being provided.  All therapists are also required to complete a fixed amount of continuing education each year.  Upon hiring a therapist, we complete a thorough background check and verification of education, certification, insurance and licenses.

Body Tech™ also requires are professionals to have a positive attitude, punctual habits, professional appearance, and respectful communications.  Our therapists receive additional Body Tech™ training to meet the standards required to provide our exceptional services to the finer hotels and all our Affiliate Partners.  Our therapists are required to wear professional Body Tech™ uniforms and carry company identification during each scheduled appointment.

Body Tech™ Professional Mobile Massage Spa Services is also properly licensed and insured in each operating territory.                            


  
~ Malpractice and Liability Insurance ~

By law; Body Tech™ requires all of our licensed professionals to carry a liability/malpractice insurance policy.  Body Tech™ carries a separate liability insurance policy and is listed as an “Additional Insured” with all of our professionals liability/malpractice insurance.

Body Tech™ collects information from what is provide to us from each client, applicant or our professionals.  Information is collected from our online forms, a company application, or client intake forms.  Generally, the information we collect helps us respond to your requests, deliver requested services, and personalize and continually improve your experience with Body Tech™ Professional Mobile Massage Spa Services.  Your personal information including contact information is never shared with anyone.

Mission Statement

Professional Ethical Services

Body Tech™ Professional Mobile Massage Spa Services employs only state licensed massage therapists and has strict policies and procedure guidelines for appropriate conduct.  Any inappropriate behavior including the suggestion or solicitation of sexual services will not be tolerated.  Our licensed professionals are required to terminate the session immediately if a client’s behavior becomes rude or if inappropriate sexual advances are indicated.  In such cases, the client will be charged and our licensed professional will receive full compensation for the session.  Appropriate authorities may even be notified!

Inappropriate behavior by our licensed professionals will not be tolerated as well and should be immediately reported to Body Tech™.  All accusations by a client regarding the inappropriate behavior of one of our therapists will be investigated thoroughly and appropriate action will be taken.  
 

Client Health Screening

Prior to scheduling any Reservations, Body Tech™'s Reservations Specialists are required to pre-screen all clients for health and seek to identify any possible current health contraindications.  Upon arrival, each client is also required to complete an intake health history waiver form prior to initiating of any services.  Our licensed professionals will review and discuss any health issues and medications that are apparent.  If at any time before or during the service our professionals become aware of any contraindications to receiving treatment, our professional will determine whether appropriate limitations of services can be established.  If not, the session will be terminated and fair and appropriate fees will be determined.

 
 Services Provided

Body Tech™’s licensed professionals provide our massage spa services in the comfort and privacy our clients hotel room or home.  We provide all the massage spa supplies such as the massage table(s), linens, lotions and oils, spa products, relaxing music, and aromatherapy oils and candles.  Before we begin, we require each client to complete our confidential health history and waiver form.  Once our therapists have reviewed each client’s information, they will step out of the room to properly wash their arms and hands.  At that time, the client should dress down to his/her comfort level and cover up on the table with the provided top sheet and cover.  Clients will remain properly draped at all times during the massage spa session.  Upon completion of each therapeutic session, the therapist will again leave the room while the client gets dressed.  If there is any discomfort during the massage spa session, please communicate with your therapist immediately.

 
Hygiene

All of our professionals have been through extensive training of practicing good hygiene and are required to follow our proper hygiene and sanitation policies.  These policies must be followed throughout each and every reservation which includes proper washing of hands and arms, sanitizing their equipment and supplies, and supply clean fresh linens.  Upon hiring our professionals, their personal hygiene is also assessed.
          



 
~ Legalities ~

 Body Tech™ operates 100% under the governed massage therapy laws, not the governed cosmetology laws.  As a mobile service, there are limitations to what type of services we can provide.  By law, as a mobile service, we can provide massage therapy, hydrotherapy, some body treatments (not body wraps), and massage facials (not esthetic facials).  Body Tech™ is NOT a full service mobile spa/salon.  We provide Massage Spa Services only!

These laws are set up to protect YOU, the client, from harm.  As a consumer, please be aware that any other mobile operation running a FULL SERVICE MOBILE SPA is performing them ILLEGALLY and has not passed any inspections;  therefore, you are at a greater risk for unsanitary conditions.  In addition to charging you for illegal services, they are also subject to large fines.  The only exception of a mobile full service spa/salon is a State Health Regulated mobile RV.  For further verification on these regulations, please contact your state Department of Business and Professional Health Regulations.

~ FAQ ~

Is a gratuity customary?  An average customary gratuity is between 15 & 20% of the service rate.  Gratuity is not included in the price of the services.  Gratuity is very much appreciated.

Can I make a last minute reservation?  We welcome your calls anytime.  We have therapists available on a daily basis.  Most of the time we can have one of our professionals out to you within a couple hours sometime even within the hour.  Depending on the day, we can not guaranty that on-call service however, we always try to accommodate our valued clients requests.

Can I rebook with your licensed professional?  Yes, but all reservations, re-scheduled reservations and cancellations must be arranged through Body Tech™’s Reservations Department. 

Hectic schedule?  We understand hectic schedules!  With advance notice, we will work around your hectic schedule.

What if I am unsatisfied with a service?  Body Tech™ values our unique reputation we currently have in this profession and make every effort to assure client satisfaction.  We encourage our valued clients to notify us with any concerns that may arise so we can make every effort to address any and all issues.

What is Body Tech’s relationship with hotels?  Most hotels do not have spas; therefore, Body Tech™ works directly with many fine hotels using a referral service system to provide their guests with a unique Professional Massage Spa Service.  This proven system with standard policy and procedure guidelines assures our services are provided in a safe and professional manor.

How is Body Tech™ Professional Mobile Massage Spa Services different than the conventional clinic or spa?  Body Tech™ is very selective when we hire our licensed professionals.  We do extensive back ground checks, require experienced licensed professionals, a current malpractice insurance policy, continuing education, and proper training prior to hire.  Our services provide that personal touch!

Do any of your professionals provide clinical bodywork?  Absolutely!  We understand stress, tension, trigger points, pain and daily discomforts are associated with the daily abuse we put our bodies through from work and stress.  We take pride in knowing our services provide the relief people so desperately need and seek for their optimal health and well being.

Must I Be Completely Undressed During A Table Massage?  No, however the choice is up to our clients.  The massage professional will leave the room to wash their arms and hands while you dress down to your comfort level and cover up on the table with the top sheet and cover.  Most massages are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort.  You will be properly draped at all times during the massage spa session.  When the session is completed the massage professional will again leave the room while you dress.

What will massage and bodywork feel like?  A general Swedish massage is light to medium pressure with broad flowing strokes which will help calm your nervous system and relax exterior muscle tension.  Swedish combination massage is light to medium pressure with some deep tissue applied to a couple areas of your choice.  During a deep tissue massage, the strokes will be slowed down and increased pressure will be applied deeper into the muscle tissues.  During deep tissue/NMT, the connective tissues and trigger points will be focused on for tension and pain relief.  We encourage good communication during our massage therapy sessions.  Pressure should never go beyond a hurt so good!  You should communicate immediately if you feel any discomfort so another approach may be taken.

What Are the Benefits of Massage and Bodywork?  Massage and bodywork can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, and promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue and improve posture.  Massage and bodywork is also known to promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety and create an overall sense of well-being.

How Will I Feel After the Massage and Bodywork Session?  Most people feel very relaxed.  Some experience freedom from long term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity.  After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity, which can last for days or even longer.  Since toxins are released from your soft tissues during a massage, it is recommended you drink plenty of water following your massage.  Sometimes soreness in muscle tissues (like you just worked out) can be experienced however, you should also experience tension relief.
